Satellic NV announces the introduction of a new periodicity scheme for the customer billing as of January 1st, 2018. By doing this, Satellic wants to address the concerns expressed by its customers and aims at easing their administrative load regarding the accounting of the kilometre charging.
At Satellic, customer centricity is not just a concept: listening to the road users, truck owners, fleet managers and paying attention to their concerns and requests is an essential part of the company’s mission, which is one of the company’s values. That is why, whenever a solution can be developed, Satellic employees, put all their efforts together to implement it within the shortest possible period of time.
The Belgian company has already introduced several improvements to the toll system itself, as well as some enhancements of the administrative tools and procedures to help its customers to deal with their administrative obligations.
After deploying the fleet invoice last year, Satellic will now launch a new feature which will help its customers to reduce the administrative burden introduced by the kilometre charging.
From January 1st, 2018 onwards, the billing documents will be issued twice a month on a fixed date, instead of every two weeks at different dates. This means that all invoices will be dated on the 15th of the month and on the last day of the month. The billing documents, however, will be made available on the Road User Portal in batches, which means that an invoice dated January 15th will be available on the RUP between the 16th and the 29th.
Peter Hopkins, Head of the Customer Finance Department at Satellic, explained: “This is another step forward for Satellic. By listening to our customers we have been improving our Customer Finance processes and aligning them with what our customers’ needs to run their businesses. We are planning further improvements so that our systems deliver billing documents even faster and to cut the cycle time for our customers.”
As the system conceived by Satellic is open and flexible, new updates will be implemented over the coming year to keep upgrading the user experience. This process of continuous improvement of the system is part of Satellic's core mission, which the company seeks to accomplish every day.
