Change in the management team of Satellic

Satellic announces that after 3 years of leading Satellic as the Chief Executive Officer, Elisabeth Verbrugge has decided to embark on a new professional adventure outside Satellic as of 1 July 2021. The Board of Satellic commenced the process of locating and appointing a successor.

The Board of Satellic received, with sincere regret, the resignation of its Chief Executive Officer Elisabeth Verbrugge. Elisabeth joined the Company in March 2016 and was appointed CEO in July 2018. Her leadership enabled the company to successfully move from its project phase to its operational phase and to definitively establish Satellic as a reference in the European tolling sector.

During her tenure, she has provided valuable orientation to the senior executives of the Belgian company and their departments which leaves an exceptionally talented team in place and the business in an excellent position for upcoming challenges.

Elisabeth’s passion and commitment to the tolling business, as Chief Executive Officer and colleague, will be sincerely missed. Thomas Pferr, Chairman of Satellic, on behalf of the Board, wishes to express his appreciation of Elisabeth and her contribution: “It was an outstanding honour for me to work together with Elisabeth during these incredible five years; first as CEO, then as Chairman when I handed over the executive role to her in 2018, and always as a friend. It is with deep regret that I received her resignation and with great respect for her choice that I accepted it.
