Operations Business Analyst

Job content

  • Use strategic thinking to see the big picture, determine and understand fundamental operational performance of Service Points and Logistics.
  • Delivering business insights in form of intelligent dashboards, automating reports, revealing insights, using connectivity data to monitor machine behaviors, investigate causality for given events, predict part / machine lifetime, machine running hours, …
  • Work independently or in close relationship with the Data Analytics team on data derived from Financial Transactions, Service Points, Logistics, Customer Service...
  • Responsible for data extraction, uncovering trends, patterns, visualizing outcome, and give recommendations
  • Interpret data based on specific knowledge of statistics and procedures used
  • Synthesize findings from analysis and make verbal/written recommendations to the management
  • Prepare and deliver insights and recommendations based on analyses
  • Update knowledge in the database and take ownership of the data structure.
  • Follow-up of incidents and changes related to information systems.
  • Software Release testing

  • General knowledge and experience in IT
  • Ability to diagnose problems
  • Data Analysis and statistics skills
  • Advanced and strategic thinking skills
  • Self-starter, strong initiative & leadership
  • Usage of Incident Management tools
  • Experience in designing, creating, and evaluating reports.
  • Attentive listening & openly expresses ideas
  • Ability to work in a team and have a “can do” mentality
     

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Confluence
  • Knowledge of SPLUNK, Jira, SQL, scripting, PowerBI, Qlikview
     

Degree and years of experience

  • 3 to 7 years of relevant experience

  • Dutch: Good
  • English: Good
  • French: Good
